Our aim is to support veterans, their families and carers. We achieve this through signposting and referring to professional services and befriending & social inclusion. Supporting those with social and health inequalities. We provide help at the point of need, when needed.
By providing a safe place, friendship and camaraderie, we aim to help reduce and end veteran isolation and loneliness. Giving them the opportunity to talk with fellow veterans who speak the same language and had the same or similar experiences. We are able to directly refer to a selection of professionals for issues ranging from general healthcare, Surgery and Mental to social care and homelessness. We also have access to legal and financial professionals and a range of veteran charities such as SSAFA and Combat Stress and the NHS CCG Armed Forces Network and their champions’ programme. PA KSS Board Currently co-located within a community hub we maintain good links with other local charitable groups to develop a structured and coordinated response to needs.
